Dr. Perry Savoy

Dr. Perry Savoy

Dr. Perry Savoy, senior member of the practice, has been serving Hudson County patients for 61 years. He started this practice in 1946 after service in the Army during World War II. The location has always been on Newark Avenue. He is delighted in seeing his old patients, some who have been with him for 40-50 years, and their grandchildren, who now require his attention.

Dr. Randi Savoy

Dr. Randi Savoy received her Bachelor’s degree from Simmons College in Boston. She received her doctorate from New England College of Optometry in 1978. The following year she did a residency in pediatric optometry at the SUNY College of Optometry in NYC. After the residency, she went into private practice, and joined her father Dr. Perry Savoy and husband Dr. Martin Siegel in Jersey City full time in 1986 where she as been practicing ever since.

Dr. Martin Siegel

Dr. Siegel received his Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. After getting his OD degree from the New England College of Optometry in 1977 Dr. Siegel spent a year in Boston teaching at the school’s pediatric clinic. In the summer of 1978 he moved to New Jersey where he worked at various offices obtaining extensive experience fitting contact lenses. Dr. Siegel began working with Dr. Perry Savoy part time in Jersey City in 1979 and joined the practice with his wife, Dr. Randi Savoy full time in 1986.

Dr. Roshni Desai

Dr. Roshni Desai

Dr. Desai earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers. Dr. Desai received her Doctor of Optometry degree and Master of Science degree from the State University of New York, College of Optometry. Dr. Desai has completed a residency in Primary Care Optometry, with emphasis on Ocular Disease, at The Eye Institute, at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She is a Board Certified Optometric Physician through New Jersey Therapeutics and Pharmaceutical Agents and is currently in the process of earning a second Board Certification. She specializes in medical Optometry. Dr. Desai has co-authored posters at the annual meetings of the American Academy of Optometry and is published in a number of peer-reviewed journals. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. She enjoys hiking, playing tennis and photography.

Dr. Marni Levy-Scanlon

Dr. Levy-Scanlon received her Bachelor of Science from SUNY Albany in 1987. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1991. She is certified in therapeutic pharmaceuticals and specializes in difficult contact lens fittings. She loves spending time volunteering in her children’s school and giving back to the community.
